One of the most eagerly awaited books ever turned out to be all talk and very little payoff. What did we really learn about Wolverine? When his powers developed, what his name is and why he has a thing for red heads. Big deal. The whole thing is structured for the sequel, which will promises all the answers we didn't give you last time. Although the book is pretty, htere's just not much there.

I'm a long time Wolverine Fan. This is the best graphic novel I have ever read. At last Wolvie fans some of his past is revealed! If you are looking for non-stop action and the usual Wolverine you may be dissapointed however, I wasn't. The plot and artwork are both excellent. A lot is revealed however there is enough that isnt that keeps you guessing. Enjoy!!

Put simply, this is one of the best reads out there. This comic defines what a good read is. If you are even remotely interested, buy this book. The true beginings of wolverine are revealed in a roller-coaster of emotion pain, and love. THIS BOOK IS GREAT

The comic lacked an ending, and for that matter depth. I suggest it for the fact that is a look in to wolverine's past, but don't expect too much.

This is one of the best comics in years. It has twists and turns galore and is a great read. It has its problems, however (such as what I consider a weak ending, and too many unanswered questions - do I smell sequel?), as any good story does, it answers as many questions as it raises. If you love good storytelling in comics you will love this book.
