    Seriously?

I gave this guy a chance. This book seemed like it had to be his best and the author talks a good game so I thought, why not give him a chance? Well, now I know why. The premise seemed good but I found it hard to read most of the time. I am not sure but I don't believe he has his books edited and it shows. The cover was enticing but it all goes downhill after that. I don't understand why he has so many 5 star ratings. It must be his self promoting. Other than that, I found it hard to even give this book 2 stars.
I like a good horror novel but I think some people find the only way to write horror is with a bunch of slashing that makes it unbearable to read. If that's your type of reading? Go for it.

    Good Plot but...

This story is about a monster and/or devil who is being held in an underground facility in the middle of the desert. The staff consists of individuals who are professional and intelligent and are there in order to achieve redemption or to avoid prison. The first part of the book was pretty good. There were a few sections that in my opinion could have been deleted. The holies (a priest and a rabbi) had many religious discussions and there was too much scientific emphasis. This just kept the story from flowing smoothly. The second half of the book just was extremely slow moving.

Great story! Unique and thought provoking concept.

Origin will keep you up at night trying to decide whether Bub is just a creature to be understood, the devil, or just "a" devil. Or it might just keep you up at night reading to the end!

    Don't waste your time!

This book is amatuerish at best; it doesn't know what genre it wants to be. Not the professional, well-penned thriller I was expecting!
