    Reawakening the Amercan People.

Original Intent presents nothing more than the explicit Truth and purpose of the Founding Fathers' in their own words. Somehow forgotten, ignored or perverted, these words still contain within them the potential for revolution in the heart and mind of America. Revealed in the language of the common citizen these words carry with them power for the American people to chastise the adolescent dalliances of the legal establishment and to harness the Judiciary so that it may again hear the crack of it's master's whip. Original Intent, and the Founders' words therein, are presented in quite a timely fashion. I am sure this was the Fathers' design that their words would reinspire our nation, at times of disillusionment, to the greatness they purposed. This greatness being the principles of absolute Truth under which all persons are governed.

    Dreadful

One of the most poorly researched and theorized books I've ever read. Barton is clearly writing to a likeminded audience who are ready and willing to swallow everything he writes. Anyone with rudimentary knowledge of Revolutionary America should see serious flaws in Barton's work and see how Barton already had the answers to the questions he asks in this book before beginning his research. He does, however, address an important question: should the law reflect its own time or maintain stasis? Studying the history of American law would show that the law has always been fluid. How can we assess the original intent of the founders when there were hundreds of founders who did not agree? The USA today is drastically different from the one that existed 200 years ago, and to claim to carry on the founders' intent is lunacy.

Learn why America is UNIQUE and Precious to the world.

If you want to learn the history of America and how our founding fathers established the government, read this book. America is the greatest most precious country ever created by man. This books goes into majority of our founder thoughts and excerpts of speeches. Read, study, and watch all of the liberals 'living breathing philosophy' friends become in rage with hearing the truth. America's Historical Truth the socialists never want the common man to know. You will never read this material in any Government Education. The Arrogant Elites who Hate America will not be able to withstand what is in this book. One can use the references to continue an in-depth study of America History. The common man established America. The Anointed Elites Hates America because they are not in control and will never be important to the Greatness of America. Read the book by Eric Hoffer ¿The True Believer¿ to learn who the arrogant Elites are.

    What is Truth?

Here you will find the embodyment and purpose of what our founding fathers had in mind. The book is full of original writings and mindset of many great men who formulated the most esteemed form of government ever known to man. The sad part is that through historical revisionism, we and our children will never learn about it if we rely on our public educational system. Our system has eradicated and watered down what these great men wrote and truly believed in. Our society and civil liberties are currently far from the founders intentions and are drifting further under our watch. You will learn just how powerful our judicial branch really is. This book is a must read and is heavily cited for further reading and investigation.

    Answers to this Nations foundation

If you have any doubt on what our government's role is and what our duty is as a citizen then this is a must read. This is a great piece of work. If we would only do what is expected of us, we wouldn't have many of the problems we face.

    Skewed rhetoric

David Barton is not a trained historian. He can be very convincing to an uninitiated audience. A lot of what he presents is a distortion of the truth . He assumes that because the Founding Fathers were religious, our government should be, too. While the historical facts he cites are more or less accurate, his biased interpretation of them is not. Barton's work is laced with exaggerations, half-truths and misstatements of fact. He is a pseudo-intellectual fraud whose twisted interpretations of history are little more than religious right propaganda.

Barton has been forced to backtrack from his book's claims. In 1995, Wallbuilders issued a statement identifying more than a dozen "Unconfirmed Quotations" that Barton had attributed to the Founding Fathers that could not be verified or were false.
