As a middle-school teacher, I am always looking for ways to grab my students' interest. My students used magnetic poetry at the magnetic dry-erase board in my room and on magnetic boards, which my husband and I constructed, at their desks. They were delighted with the results. Students were unusually creative as they manipulated the words both individually and in groups. My students and I highly recommend magnetic poetry for the classroom.
