Overview

Original Sin is book two in the Alexandra Jones series, the sequel to First Bitten.

Alex has run. Leaving everything she knows and loves … Nathan, behind. She’s a fugitive; hiding from the Original Vârcolacs who want to claim her for themselves.

Hiding in Italy, she has changed her identity and her appearance; working in a coffee shop in the quiet town of Sassano.

Then Zeff steps into her life. He’s solid, sturdy, but more so he’s human – he’s someone real, tangible, a friend throwing her a lifeline in a world of loneliness.

Believing she's safe from attack, nothing prepares Alex for what's lurking in the woods, on her doorstep, intoxicating her into a web of control and deceit.

Danger is closer than her shadow ... the hunt is on again, forcing Alex into the hardest dilemma yet.

Praise for First Bitten, the first book in the Alexandra Jones series:

‘The ending - god what an ending! It's so emotional I think I spiraled for a while, unwilling to let it go. As a reader, hooked from the first chapter, I'm prepared to send death threats to get a sequel to this novel. There MUST be more, I need more!’ Poppet, author of the Pravus series and The Gods and Thurs series.

‘So much happens that you just want to know, “What happens next”, “Will everything work out okay” , “WHY!” and to top it off the ending has a cliffhanger that has you saying, “That’s it?!?!” It definitely leaves you wanting to read the next book.’ Marie from Paranormal Reads.

‘I'm ultra-excited to have found such a brilliant new series! First Bitten is Book 1 in The Alexandra Jones Series and I devoured it in a day. I don't want to give anything away, so all I'll say is it has all the elements to make up the perfect urban fantasy: a very real and sympathetic main character, a terrifying supernatural situation and the hottest love interest you could imagine!’ Shalini Boland, author of the Marchwood series and Outside.

    Aaahhh

This is my 2 nd book from S Towle and at times I want to pull my hair. The story line is good and can be better but when you have Alex who is 26 yrs acting like a 16 yr old the story tends to drag... all her "ANGST" is childish not to mention a waste of 3-4 pages! I honestly skipped a lot of pages just to get to the good part. And FYI, could you please add some action before the book ends!!

    LOVETOREAD!!!!!"

    Loved It

Couldn't put it down. Fell in love with the characters immediately. Slow build romance is a part of the story but not the focus. Great read.

Can't get enough I was given and e-copy by the author in exchan

    Can't get enough

I was given and e-copy by the author in exchange for my honest review.

This is the sequel to "First Bitten" The author is high on my list of favorites. She has a way for making you fall for her characters and feel all their emotions.

Alex has set out on her journey of a new life on her own. She had to make a choice that is killing her on the inside, but it is better then watching her loved ones die. She has changed her identity and her looks, hoping it will help her hide while on the run from danger and her past. She constantly has to keep her guard up, one mistake and it could be her last. Choices have to be made, but there are consequences to them all. Who can she trust? Will she have the strength to survive and do what is right? She is on a long road with two separate paths, but which one will she take?

I laughed, cried, and felt panic right along with the characters. It had me on the edge of my seat. A must read that will have you wanting more. The release of the next book can't come fast enough.

    Great read!

I loved the story it picks up as Alex is running to save herself from becoming a breeding machine. Heart broken and alone for the first time she learns to fend for herself. This story has it all adventure, action, romamce, vampires, warewolves, shapeshifters.... everything. Book 2 on the series and I'm hoping for a book 3.
