Over the course of a decade, while raising her family, she completed a rigorous series of courses earning a diploma in Orthodox Christian Studies through Saint Athanasius Academy of Orthodox Theology (1997-2010).
She was a long-term editor/columnist of The Trading Post in The Handmaiden — An Orthodox Christian Women's Journal (1997-2008).
Marie began working with Saint Nicodemos Publications, over a decade ago, organizing transcribers, as well as transcribing and editing various Orthodox Christian theological books, many of which bring the teachings of +Archimandrite Athanasios Mitilinaios from Greek into the English written word.
Concurrently, in 2008, she began collecting, editing, formatting, designing, and producing an anthology of writings published as Orthodox Christian Parenting – Cultivating God’s Creation in 2013 under the company she created, Zoë Press. She has been blessed with help from a small army of friends: laity, parents, priest wives, priests, and monastic volunteers through the years.
The first volume in the Revelation series, Homilies on the Book of the Revelation, was published in 2009, after which Marie began learning book design and publishing resulting in: Revelation: The Seven Seals - Orthodox Christian Lessons by Archimandrite Athanasios Mitilinaios in 2014 and the third volume Revelation: The Seven Trumpets & The Antichrist - Orthodox Christian Lessons in 2015. The third Revelation volume completes 57 of the 104 lessons given by +Elder Athanasios translated and adapted by Constantine Zalalas.
Zoë Press, served as managing editor for Tears of Repentance: True Experiences in A Greek Taxi Cab by Athanasios Katigas.
