    I Also Recommend:

    Comprehensive Manual Therapy "Cook" Book

This textbook by Chad Cook is a great textbook for students and professors of physical therapy. We have this as part of our curriculum and I find this textbook readable and informative. There are pages upon pages of pictures and explanations of how to perform each segment of an examination or treatment for all parts of the body, even the TMJ.

The most respectable part of this book is how Cook addresses the evidence. He is quick to point out the efficacy or lack of evidence which supports certain manual therapy/physical therapy interventions for conditions. This is a breath of fresh air to those who want the truth, and not just what they want to hear!

I highly recommend both this book and the soft back Cook book which has physical examination tests.
