Patricia Schr der, 1960 in der Wesermarsch geboren, wohnte viele Jahre in Dsseldorf. Sie studierte Textildesign und arbeitete einige Jahre in diesem Beruf. Als ihre Kinder zur Welt kamen, zog sie mit ihrer Familie und einem gro xen Korb voller Katzen ans Meer zurck. Die Weite und die Ruhe der nordfriesischen Kooglandschaft beflgelten ihre Fantasie und sie fing an zu schreiben. Inzwischen geh rt sie zu den erfolgreichsten deutschen Kinder- und Jugendbuchautoren und ihre Romane wurden bereits in mehrere Sprachen bersetzt.
