I have found this book excellent, especially in describing specific safe and helpful exercises if you have osteoporosis. It is also an excellent resource for women who have osteopenia as there is a chapter on maintaining bone density and avoiding osteoporosis with exercises and lifestyle advice. One added extra is that for each exercise, the author describes the benefit it gives so there is added incentive to do it and perform it correctly.
