I just finished Otters in Space, a science fiction novel taking place on Earth after humans have left and genetically engineered animals have taken over the world.
This was a fun young adult book that readers of any age would enjoy! The characters are memorable and the humor witty. I was pulled along until the very end, staying up past my bedtime because I had to see what would happen next. I am amazed by the quality of the writing, the well-crafted storytelling, and the complexities of world-building. I really enjoyed how issues of race and oppression are explored in a safe and accessible way for young adults. I can’t wait for the sequel to come out!

Fabulous! Cats and dogs and otters, and somehow this captures their very different personalities. Well, I've never actually met an otter...loads of fun, can't wait for more.

I was very surprised by this novel. There were points where I actually laughed out loud. The characters were endearing and the although covering some underlyingly serious social issues, the story felt fresh. I found this a thoroughly enjoyable read. Thumbs up.

    Amazing

You would think this book would be boring, but you'd be wrong. An amazing concept with very well imaged characters, it only lacks publicity, seeing the lack of reviews. However, the way the novel was written goes head to head with Rick Riordan and Erin Hunter, the dominators of this genre. Can't wait for 2!
