This book is an interesting collection of short memoirs by women photographers about themselves and their grandmothers. Each submission includes a self-portrait and a photograph of their grandmother. The photographers differ in age, culture, and personal history, so the memoirs also differ. I recommend the book for those interested in women's history, trans-generational relationships, personal histories/narratives, and for those who grandmothers were important in their own lives.
