    Very Interesting- Totally engrossing

I used to work with Christine & Heather on the Family Place at Concord Hospital- so I was very surprised and interested to find this book accidentally in Borders Bookstore. I could not put it down. I have to say my heart goes out to Eric. I feel he was caught in a situation where he reacted for the right reasons, but maybe -if he had thought about all the consequences first, would not have done it. But, when you are 17 and have strong emotions about info regarding a person's abusive situation that you care about- it can overcome you to action before you think. I am sure over the past 20 yrs he has punished himself more than his sentence, and at least when his sentence is complete-maybe he can find peace for the remainder of his life.

    Excellent book

Very well written book, and hard to put down..since i started reading this book ive thought about it when not reading it..there is alot i feel that hasnt been told..Melanie should be where Eric is and for as long as..a accomplice to a murder should get the same sentance as the person who kills ??there were other options and actions to be taken aganist her step father..i could talk about this book forever cause theres alot i agree with and alot i dont..you will feel the emotions in this book.....they say their are three sides to the truth..his, hers, and the truth....Bn

    Secret?

I thought it was a very well researched and written book, I have lived and worked in the area of the Murder for a number of years and have never heard about the case.

    Great read

Without giving any details out to a potential reader, I found this book. difficult to put down. I did have only one issue, which I found to be controversial in one aspect, which if I discuss in this review, will spoil this book for anyone who wishes to read this. I highly recommend this book to those who like to read true crime books like me, as the forensic details are absolutely amazing as to how the criminal was finally discovered. After reading this, I'm sure many will see the controversial issue I noticed.

    GOOD READ

I just finished the book, I liked it, it was worth reading. I did think there were more characters mentioned than there needed to be, therefore making the book a little "wordy", extra information/people that I think was of no importance. Maybe it had to be that way, the book was only 292 pages. I have read several true crime, this one was just O.K. The story itself was interesting, making it hard not to finish the book. I do believe that everyone got the correct punishment for the crime commited, including Melanie. At first I thought she might get off, but was suprised with the judge, and agreed with him. She was involved, I think more than she let on. However, I do feel for what she might have went through. Is it their right to take someones life for what may have happened, No. A good book to read.
