Harry Oxenhandler was born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri, many moons ago. He has been practicing medicine since 1967. He and his bride of 46 years live in the northwest. They have 3 terrific children and are forever hovering over their 3 beautiful and gifted (aren’t they all?) grandchildren.

    The story is very simple, elegant, exciting and has heart. Our kids wanted to hear it again the very first time we read it. The family relationships are loving and respectful. The ending surprises big time and
    the illustrations are terrific.
    I am a primary grade teacher and I took it to read to my school children. They loved it, too. I highly recommend it.
