Editorial Reviews

Intercultural Press
This dynamic book examines the cultural differences between blacks and whites and explores the effect these have on community, school and workplace relationships. The author offers guidelines for white readers on how to communicate and interact more effectively with African Amercans in dealing with segregation, teaching black students, and supervising black employees. He ends with a powerful afterword in which he describes the triumphs and struggle of black America and calls for a coalition of blacks and whites to come to grips with them in the years ahead.
Library Journal
The book imparts its message on both an intellectual and emotional level- a major step toward helping to "keep each other's souls from being tarnished by ignorance, neglect, hatred, or indifference." Highly recommended.
