Editorial Reviews

School Library Journal
Gr 6-10-In this easy-to-follow writing workshop, Bauer presents the basic elements of a good story, illustrating each with pieces written by students in grades 4-12. By responding to each example and discussing revision techniques, the book takes budding authors step-by-step through the construction of a narrative. The suggestions for each individual piece can be applied to any type of writing. The students' work adds enough variety and interest to keep the attention of most young people, but it will have a special appeal to any who might want to be published or who are having trouble organizing their thoughts and putting them on paper. Autobiographical statements from the young people give insight as to what motivates them to write, as well as some personal information that lends immediacy. Bauer helps guide young authors toward good writing styles, while still encouraging them to explore their creative thoughts.-Tracey Kroll, Brookland Middle School, Richmond, VA
From the Publisher

Denim Evan Thunder Lightning Frost))) This morning, I wole up wanting. I felt tingles of heat between my legs for no reason... I was in heat AGAIN. I wondered who to call over. Thunder and Lightning, or Evan. I slowly got a dil.do from my dresser drawer, thinking about wether to use it or wait for the real thing (or things) to come over. I decided to wait, but still held it in place. I picked up my phone, Dialling Evan. He picked up. "Hey Denim! Whats up?" "In heat, again." I replied. I heard him purr softly. "Be right over!" A few miniutes later, he finally got to my place, but it felt like forever. I could see him buldge slightly as my waves of heat washed over him. "Want help?" I asked, gesturing at his erecti.on. "That might be nice..." he purred, sitting down beside me and slightly brushimg my breas.ts. He pulled off my shirt, revealing a br.aless chest. He purred slightly louder and rubbed my nip.ples. I moaned, slightly, and pulled at his jeans. He stood up and let me pull them off, then carried me to my room and dropping me on my double bed. He stood in front of me, already pretty big and pulled off his boxers. I gasped. What girl wouldnt? He already looked almost seven inches! I rolled over and moved over to him. He pushed his lenghth tward me, and i put my mouth on him, sucking slowly and smiling. (Gotta cut it short.) ~ Glen
