    So So

1400 pages for book 1. Everyone wants to write epic tales but not all stories need to be drug out over multiple books. This tale just doesn't have the makings for "epic".

The first third of this book was really bogged down trying to cram in a whole lot of stuff -- much of it made no sense. A lot of editing and a fewer plotlines would greatly improve this book.

    Not enjoyable

The author is obviously trying to impress someone with his vocabulary. In doing so this book is so cumbersome to read, it sucks any enjoyment completely out of reading.
