Overview

She has no idea she was born in another universe.

Strange perceptions trouble artist Hannah Fleischer, but she’s found happiness in her engagement to a police detective. She has no idea that she was brought to California as a child from a parallel world where history has taken a dangerously different course.

Then the link between the two universes reactivates unexpectedly. While a secret security team struggles to prevent an intruder from carrying out a deadly agenda, cascading events thrust Hannah, unprepared, into the center of a crisis that could destroy both her worlds.

Praise for Jacqueline Diamond’s novels

“Like the best of Dean Koontz's supernatural chillers, this novel [Echoes] forces readers to suspend disbelief.”
--The Library Journal

“I read Echoes through in only two days–what a page-turner.”
--A.C. Crispin, author of V and Starbridge

“Little by little Ms. Diamond built the suspense, reeling in her readers for a dynamic climax. Touch Me In The Dark continues to excite me, so much so that I recommend this fascinating book to one and all.”
--Donna Zapf, Ecateromance.com

“With lean, precise, no-nonsense prose she takes the reader down all the right paths ... [The Eyes of a Stranger is] an intensely urgent page-turner.”
--Los Angeles Daily News

Editorial Reviews

online reviewer - Gary Bale
"Few writers are talented and brave enough to cross genres and do it well. Although much of Ms. Diamond's work is in the romance category, she makes the leap literally into a whole new world with "Out of Her Universe". Fun, drama, intrigue, interworld travel; it's all in this fast paced and exciting read."

This was the first one of Jackie's books that I've read, and I must admit that I'll be looking in to the others.

Although I don't think that the blurb is exact to the story, it only really looks at a tiny piece instead of the overall picture, but that didn't stop the story from being awesome.

I really enjoyed the concept of mixed universes. I liked Hannah and the world that she's thrown into and how she discovers she was smuggled as a little kid. That's really cool, in a strange multi-verse kinda way.

I loved the creativity that it took to deal with the concept multiple plains of existence and the realistic way that she was able to spin them.

This is a great read for sci-fi/fantasy readers!
