    Helpful for Mom of SPD kid

    Being a mother faced with the possibility of my child having sensory perception disorder, I wanted to know everything about the disorder. One of our therapists suggested this book. There were some activities that we have been doing so we had some relief knowing we were on the right track. The book is broken down into sections for all the senses. That was helpful with my son not having problems with all the senses.
    The only downside I found to this book is that most the activities were geared towards ages 3+. My son is only 2 and there are a few activities he may not understand.

    Great help.

    I've had this book for 2 weeks and it has been a great help. I had not planned on getting this one first but that was all I could find in the store. I have been plesantly surprised when we tried a few activities and have seen improvements in over all behavior.

    A must for any parent that has a child with sensory issues

    This book is parent friendly. I am the mother of a premature child that has sensory issues. This book is the first reference that has been of any value to me. It is easy to read and offers great insight to why your child acts "differently" than others. The book offers ideas for activities that may help. A must read.
