Overview

OUT OF THE MIRY CLAY is written from the depths of personal experience seen in the light of God’s Word. It begins with the reality story of a man of God that lost his way and how he returned through a journey of restoration.

He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, OUT OF THE MIRY CLAY, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. (Psalms 40:2)

The apostle Peter wrote about those that knew the Lord but go back and once again "wallow in the mire” of the wickedness of this earth. (2 Peter 2:20-22) That “mire” is a desolate and slippery downhill slope into despair, doom, and gloom from which there is apparently no way out. Only in God and by the power of His Spirit can a person be brought out where their feet can be upon the rock and their goings can be firmly established! This is what this book is all about because it deals with powerful scriptural principles that will put anyone on God's divine path for a complete restoration.

When there is true repentance, forgiveness from God is as instantaneous as is His acceptance, but complete restoration is a spiritual process. Many never enter the process of restoration because of not knowing where to begin. Others get frustrated or weary in the process and give up because no one ever told them that the fullness of restoration will take time. How much time it will take is mostly up to you! This manual will show what the process is, how to flow in it, and how to complete it so as become useful again for the Master.
