Author Biography: Debra Frasier grew up just north of Vero Beach, Florida, in a house where the sandy front steps ran down to the Atlantic Ocean. Loggerhead turtles nested on those beaches, and as a young girl, Ms. Frasier once carried hatchlings to the sea, shooing away attacking seagulls and ghost crabs.
Ms. Frasier now lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota with her daughter and husband, but plans to move back to Vero Beach soon.
