These series are the best that I have ever read. I fell in love with the main characters. Needless to say I am waiting for another series to come out as I have these memorized.
This is really a good love story. Okay, so one is a mortal and the other is a creature of the dark, but is it not differences that make great love stories? I think the characters in this book is the coolest and I can identify with all of them, except for those demonic vampire children of Roxanne, talking about the need of boot camp for those two. And the love relationship between Neely and Aidan made me long to be loved like that. And yes the lust scenes between the two was done gracefully and with taste but still enough to make one damp with ectasy. Especially that mental sex thing Aidan does to Neely, Oh my!
I first read the novels when they came out in 1993 & 1994 and enjoyed them so much I still have them on my shelf and have gone back and re-read them. I did not enjoy For All Eternity as much as Forever and the Night because there was just something that did not seem complete in the characters relationship at the end. Since Vampire books have become so popular expect a release of Time With Out End. The third story in the series about Valerian. I still look for a fouth book and hope that since these are out maybe one will follow.
I have read many of Linda Lael Miller's books and was really set back when I started this one. I was very disappointed because her other books have all been so good. I made myself read this one where I could have a true picture of what the book was about. I have never had any interest in vampires and had no desire to purchase a book about them. If I had known, I wouldn't have purchased this book. It is not at all what I desire to read.
