Editorial Reviews

Debra L. Martin
Monique Martin’s debut offering, “Out of Time” is a delightful, sexy romp back in time to the 1920s...I absolutely adored Elizabeth West. She is your typical research assistant, overworked and underpaid, but the author gives her such depth and wit that you immediately want to be her friend. The banter that goes back and forth between her and Simon keeps you captivated and you just want to read more and more....This book won’t let you put it down until you finish...

I don't read vampire novels or zombie novels or time-travel novels. But I read Out of Time and it is such a stunning achievement of narrative, storytelling, character, and chemistry that I'm forced to go beyond my usual reading repertoire to give you a sense of its power. One of those 5-star reviewers conjured up the notion of Indiana Jones meets Dr. Who to describe one of the main characters, and the other, Elizabeth West, is a creation worthy of a contemporary Jane Austen...

If the Visine people are looking for a new spokesperson then sign me up, because I solemnly swear that I have not blinked at all for the past hour at least. Why, you ask? Because I've been reading Out of Time and this story had me by the throat and would not let go!

Holy Heck!!... this book is one of the best books I've ever read

Holy Heck!!... this book is one of the best books I've ever read.. I can't even believe it's free.!! I'm sooo going right now to buy the second and third.. A true 699 page book!! The plot was amazing ! The story didn't leave any holes or gaps in the plot the ending was complete and didn't leave you hanging. The character's were very well thought out. I'd have to completely disagree with the previous comment out no liking the " Girl "character. The book had romance but not to much where it takes away from the story line, I love a good romantic story but that has an actual story to it, not just sex all over the place they didn't even get together until page 350. I dont normally leave feedback but this was an amazing story and I finished it in a day and a half. totaly worth buying the next books!

Excellent series, a real pager-turner and hard to put down. This

Excellent series, a real pager-turner and hard to put down. This is not a vampire book per se, more of a time-traveler romance novel with some adventure thrown in.  I highly recommend.

    Entertaining book!

I enjoyed the main characters of the story and it was fun to read about them adjusting to the 1920s. I wish the discovery of the vampire was more detailed and believable. I really enjoyed the first half of the book but the second half was predictable. Overall, I found this book an entertaining story.
