Author's Note:

Gordon and Nat are favourite characters of mine, though that said I do tend to get rather attached to all my characters, which might not be a good thing. ;-) Out of Tune is actually a prequel. When I first began writing about Gordon and Nat it was at a much later stage in their lives. I wanted to give a fuller picture of things hinted at in the original stories and fill in their history. I hope to eventually bring to print the stories that inspired this prequel. Due to a computer disaster I lost some important chapters of this series and have yet to reconstruct them from the few written notes I have left to hand. In the later stories Gordon and Nat run an establishment called Hope House, it's a kind of refuge for social misfits

I’m an author of gay fiction with a spanking and D/s slant. My style of fiction is rather difficult to categorise. It isn’t vanilla romance, but nor is it classic erotica or BDSM. It incorporates elements from all those mediums, but essentially belongs to a sub group of gay romance fiction often referred to as male to male discipline fiction.

Not everyone understands or 'gets' discipline fiction and that's fine. I don't 'get' prawn cocktail flavour crisps, but I uphold the right of people to eat them should their taste buds be wired that way.

I tend not to write the kind of stories usually associated with the romance genre.
The kind where A meets B and they have some adventures/misunderstandings/ but eventually get together. The bulk of my stories involve already established couples. It's just the way I like to write, it's my style.

I don't write porn and while sex is an aspect of my fiction it isn't the main focal point, so if you think of and enjoy M/M stories only in terms of heat level and sex scenes then my fic probably won't be to yout taste.

There's more to gay relationships than sex and I tend to focus more on the emotional side of things and of course the discipline aspect.

My stories tend to be quirky, but also warm hearted and sensitive. Almost all of them are spiced with a little spanking and also a liberal sprinkling of offbeat humour. I suppose you could describe some of them as situation comedies.

    Out of Tune

    I'm a dedicated fan of Fabian Black's stories. I really enjoy her style. This is a short but pleasing read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's nicely written and has all the elements that I like in my fiction, it had spanking, romance, it's nicely sentimental, humorous as well as touching and I LOVED both Nat and Gordon, they're a great pairing. Gorgeous cover too.

    In Tune

    Gay D/s romance fiction. If you enjoy M/M stories that focus on discipline and spanking then you'll probably enjoy this as much as I did.
