This book was an invaluable guide for our honeymoon trip to the Tetons and Yellowstone. Among the five books that we purchased, this one was best. The descriptions of each of the activities is very clear and informative, and we were able to read thru them and make concrete decisions on exactly what we wanted to do and what we didn't. All the activities that we did follow were great and exactly as described. A must-have book for anyone who plans on spending any significant amount of time in these two parks. The only problem I have is with the title...this book is really for everybody and not just families.

I purchased this book for my first trip to Yellowstone and found it invaluable. I have since made several other trips and still use it as a reference. Even if you don't have kids, the information is very useful. Not only does it list wonderful hikes but also suggests wildlife viewing areas as well as information on both parks. A must buy if you plan to head to Yellowstone or the Tetons.
