As tall and striking as the Valkyries of legend, Dr. Rain Jordan is proud of her Norse ancestors despite their warlike ways. But she can't believe her eyes when a blow to her head transports her to a nightmarish battlefield of yore—and there standing before her is the barbarian of her dreams.

A wild-eyed berserker, Selik can slay a dozen Saxons with a single swing of his deadly sword—yet he can't control a saucy wench from the future. In his eyes, Rain is a prisoner and he'd dearly love to avail himself of her medical skills—not to mention her considerable knowledge of the male anatomy. But the infuriating woman has ideas of her own. If Selik isn't careful, the stunning siren might very well capture his savage heart and make a warrior of love out of . . . The Outlaw Viking

But she couldn't believe her eyes when a blow to the head transported her to a nightmarish 10th-century battlefield. Now she has to save Selik, the barbarian of her dreams . . . and if Selik isn't careful, the stunning siren will capture his heart as well.

    Well done Ms. Hill

I read just about every book that comes my way, and there are times when I am lucky enough to come across one that is absolutely entertaining from start to finish. A very funny, funny book.

    What can I say

Well I got this book because the last book I bought from Sandra Hill was really funny and about two viking brothers. This one however is not funny at all. I am at the page 200and there is only conflict between the two main characters. I am kinda sick of the hero constantly trying to be rude and trying to push Rain away even if he has good reasons. The only thing that Rain has a bad case of is potty mouth. For a 30 year old doctor she just accepts whatever attitude the dude has and it is enough that the corner of his mouth moves a little and she melts. By the way I am sick of reading about the corner of that mouth. There are authors who keep their heros jerks till the end of the book and their women weak like some of the books from Nicole Jordan or Johanna Lindsey but there are authors that you connect with the hero or heroine emotionally. When you read book fromhighlander series of monica mccarty specially her last one the knight, you feel the pain and the emotion. Tje only emotion I have felt for the characters of this book is annoyance. I will read the last 100 page and I really hope the book will redeem itself but I am not that hopeful.

    FANTASTIC READ!

Truly a fantastic read! Selik was the perfect hero; Rain the perfect heroine. They complemented each other beautifully. Both equally clever, honorable, devoted.

The storyline moved quickly, filled with adventure and humor--balanced well alongside Selik and Rain's relationship. The supporting cast was unforgettable, from charming orphans to ugly villains.

Finished the book in one evening ... well, simply could not walk away until Selik and Rain found their HEA. Theirs was true love, after all. Highest five gold stars with standing applause!
