    Fantastic Book

This is a great book if you want to get out anywhere near interior Alaska. (especially around the Fairbanks area) It has nearby sections of the state divided into different hikes, bikes, floats and climbs and gives detailed information on each trip, what you need to watch out for, a general map, how to get there, where to park and so on. I especially like the table in the back that divides all the trip by experience level so you can easily find some 'easy' hikes to start out and then move up from there. A must have resource for anyone that wants to get out and about anytime during the year.
