'Charming...an amusing and honest tale about creating a scene and living one's truth, even if it seems both fantastic and familiar.'
Christopher Verleger
'An amusing debut novel...a high school teen as spirited and outspoken as Tye hasn't come along in awhile.'

I loved this book. It was a very funny and heartfelt tale about a teenage boy going through this first love. It's amazing because it's not just another coming out tale. The main character is already out and very happy to be gay. The characters are well-developed and the dialogue is razor-sharp. I learned of the book through Mr. Paull's column 'The Dating Diet'...I've been following the column for years and this is a great step in the right direction for his writing. I'm still cracking up about the best friend who likens boys to big stuffed teddy bears. 'Great on your pillow but I'll be damned if I'm caught dragging one around campus.' The book is very real and tackles some hard topics. Highly recommended.
