Author Biography:

Bruce Whatley is the illustrator of a number of books for children, including Whatley's Quest and Detective Donut and the Wild Goose Chase, which he wrote with Rosie Smith. He is also the illustrator of the book-and-tape version of The Teddy Bears' Picnic, performed by Jerry Garcia and David Grisman. He lives in Meredith, NH.

The popular Thanksgiving song is illustrated with scenes of a family going to Grandpa's house for a big turkey dinner. With musical accompaniment.

    We wore it out on the first grandchild

    My two granddaughters never tire of this book. We read it year around. The first child wore out the music box. We are going to order a new copy. We have all grown to love the book and have put family names on the illustrated characters.
