On arrival they are greeted by other relatives of various skin tones and a table loaded with food for Thanksgiving. The immediate, bright pictures carry out the excitement and humor of the enterprise. The expressions on the face of the horse add to the fun. The rollicking rhyme has a surprise ending. Young children will enjoy the story again and again. The illustrations will have special appeal for African American children.
