    Fantastic and hilarious

If you like a Bill Bryson-type humor, you'll love Aaron Brown's book. This book is basically a memoir of a place, the Iron Range of Minnesota. I laughed out loud, but I also walked away with a new perspective on rural/industrial areas and towns that grew up through a particular industry (mining) but are learning to survive after the boom ended. Mostly, though, it is just fun to read.
