Meet the Author

Samuel Ben "Sam" White is an author, cartoonist and minister who has spent years researching the historical events that surround the story in "Overstreet". He has walked the paths the characters take and slept out on the ground where the characters slept. If it's true that famingos are pink because of all the shrimp they eat, then it's no surprise that Sam's writing--especially in this novel--would echo the great Louis L'Amour.

Sam is also the author of several successful time travel novels, as well as other popular works of fiction, which can be found on Nook and at www.garisonfitch.com.
