Own is the third and final book in the Need series. If you follow my blog, you know how much I love Brayden Hunt. Brayden is that bad boy, break you heart kinda guy in book one. What I love about Brayden is how he matures throughout the books, is determined and protective, and doesn’t stray from his goal as the series progresses. He’s the best kind of book boyfriend in my opinion, and earns him a top spot in my list of book hotties. He’s alpha, sexy, a tad bit cocky, dirty, and loveable. Kira has always loved Brayden. He put her through a lot in book one, and she still has trust issues in book three. Throughout the series, we get the chance to see how the group of characters grow and progress; Brayden and Kira the most since it’s their story. Their love story begins when they’re kids and I remember loving the angst book one put me through. It definitely was a love hate relationship I had with these two, and I mean that in the best way. By book three, we get a look into where these two characters’ lives have taken them, and the growth of not only their maturity, but their deep love for each other. I loved being in Brayden’s overprotective mind, I loved when he had to battle with himself to prove his love to Kira. I loved taking this journey with Brayden, because he’s Brayden and one of my favorite book boys of all time! Kira’s growth and maturity takes the longest to advance, and at times her immaturity frustrated me. How many times does a guy need to apologize for his immature, bad decisions? (LOL) I wanted to take Brayden in my arms and promise him all the things he was promising Kira. By the end of the series, I’m glad Kira became stronger, more mature, and proved that she is worthy of Brayden's love. The authors created a world filled with a taboo topic that is HOT, which captivated me from the first book. These characters became my friends and I counted down, waiting impatiently for each installment. Brayden is one of those characters that sticks with you, and I will forever adore him! This was a bittersweet ending for me, simply because it is their ending. I’m glad they each got their HEA, but I am sad to say goodbye to their story.
