Very Good
Hardcover Very Good 0195170725 The complete 7 volume set in very good, clean, tight condition. 2010. 4to. First impression. Bound in navy blue leatherette with the spines and ... front boards embossed in white, turquoise and silver. The text supported by numerous illustrations and maps to each volume. Volume one, 390pp. Volume two, 454pp. Volume three, 433pp. Volume four, 468pp. Volume five, 456pp. Volume six, 441pp. Volume seven, 517pp. The text blocks of each volume are very fresh, clean and tight-printed on acid-free paper and they appear unread. The volumes do however have bumps to the heads/tails of many spines and to a number of the board corners. There is the very odd light mark to the boards. A light rub mark to the upper corner of the front endpaper of volume one caused by the removal of a price-sticker. A lovely, clean, tight set. *****PLEASE NOTE: This item is shipping from an authorized seller in Europe. In the event that a return is necessary, you will be able to return your item within the US. Excellent set of books; poor paper and printing

The set is worthwhile buying, but I am surprised of the dearth of graphics, not attractive quality of paper and binding. They do not resemble the majestic book collections of the past.
