One of the world's greatest wine writers has given us a completely revised and updated edition of his authoritative and vastly informative bestselling A-Z guide to the world of wine. As easy to use for the beginner as it is informative for the expert, the New Encylopedia is organized alphabetically rather than by region, allowing the wine lover to find any wine, region, producer, or grape with ease. Other sections include introductions to the major wine-producing countries of the world; practical advice on storing and serving wine, including classic wine matches; and a glossary of wine-making techniques and terms-all covered in straightforward, simple language.

Great for wine lovers of all levels

I've about a dozen assorted wine books, but became interested in Oz Clarke because of his outstanding CD 'Wine Guide' in my computer that I refer to so often. This is both a beautiful book and a great source of helpful, easy-to-understand information. Valuable for wine buffs of all levels.
