Also included are brief biographies of people involved in the study of ozone and in the politics of its protection. Many primary sources are quoted. Although dealing principally with the assumption that the ozone layer is an essential aspect of the natural environment, there is discussion of the ideas of those, such as Rush Limbaugh, who do not believe there is a problem.
