P-Town Humor Book
Brian Einersen's new cartoon book will provide hours of fun for adults who like those games where you're asked to identify similarities and dissimilarities. But "P-Town Humor" is for grown-ups. Bitingly funny at times, it looks at Provincetown through a very quirky lens and juxtaposes two "teams" of T-shirts (most often) against each other. Thus, one is "Team Wired Puppy" versus "Team Lazy Kitty," "Team Lobster Pot" versus "Team Rock Lobster" and more. A lot of the jokes are based on the town's gay population — "Team Naked Boys" and "Team Show Girls" — along with politics, the social scene and the difference between Provincetown's summer elites and winter year-rounders. Some work, some don't, some are just P'town.
