Pablo Honey [12 Track Version]

( 14 )

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Stephen Thomas Erlewine
Radiohead's debut album, Pablo Honey, is a promising collection that blends U2's anthemic rock with long, atmospheric instrumental passages and an enthralling triple-guitar attack that is alternately gentle and bracingly noisy. The group has difficulty writing a set of songs that are as compelling as their sound, but when they do hit the mark -- such as on "Anyone Can Play Guitar," "Blow Out," and the self-loathing breakthrough single "Creep" -- the band achieves a rare power that is both visceral and intelligent. [This edition returns to the album's original 12-track lineup -- omitting the clean version of "Creep."]

    RadioHead Fan

If you are looking to get this album for the CREEP song look into their other albums, they are all good, they all have something to offer. Creep is a good song but it sorta pigeon holed them as a hardcore band and they are more experimental than most people first think.

    Radiohead Kicks Ass

Radiohead's pablo Honey cannot be topped by any other cd at this moment. The kickin guitars and Thom's great lyrics, and the fact that Thom is a huge Man U fan makes Radiohead the best band to come from the UK since the Beatles.

    I'm a creep!

I love every single radiohead song out there. "I'm a creep" is an especially good song. It's catchy and haunting. But, all the songs by Radiohead...and on this album...are good, so buy the album! Buy Radioheads!

    best radio head album yet!

Pablo honey is a great radio head album, its more up beat than certain songs on ok computer but has everything you could want from an album. the instruments are played fantastically and vocals compliment and add to its sound quality. i would recomend this album for first time radiohead buyers its amazing and you will definately play it over and over in your cd player as its hard not to fall in love with.

    Great album

Most people think that Pablo Honey is just a ...meh...album, but I really enjoyed it. It was when Radiohead was just a British power pop band, but it sounds amazing. Thom's lyrics are still as affecting as usual, perhaps less ''screw-with-my-head'' lyrics but powerful notwithstanding. Electrified guitars and an acoustic here and there, along with Yorke's graceful voice make me love listening to this album almost every day. If you think that you shouldn't buy this album because everyone else told you not to, buy it anyways. If you bought it and couldn't listen to it, try again. Its a great album, not as great as OK computer and Kid A perhaps, but its still fun.

    A great debut.......

One of those great debut albums. Radiohead showed on Pablo Honey that they had the potential to become one of the greatest rock bands of our time.
