About the Author

Susan Levine is a wildlife enthusiast, and has travelled extensively to learn and study endangered species. After the birth of her two children, Susan focused her energy on being a Brownie and Cub Scout leader, volunteering at the Childhood League Center, a pre-school for children with special needs, and serving as an enrichment specialist at her children's school. It was in this role that she indentified the need for a children's book about the city of Columbus. Erin Burchwell was born and reared in South Carolina where she graduated with a B.S. degree in Dramatic Production Education and a minor in Art. She married a Buckeye and moved to Ohio in 2003 where she has been actively involved in the fine arts community ever since. She serves on various fundraising committees for art and children's museums around Columbus.
