Overview

These puzzles offer more than just solving pleasure: they’re also works of art! That’s because every time you successfully complete a diagram, you also draw a picture. Along the top and left side of the grid are numbers that refer to the columns and rows: these are the keys to a code revealing which and how many squares to fill in. It just takes a little logic, concentration, and patience to figure it out—the process is a lot like sudoku, actually, where you work with numerical clues. But the result is something ...

    Enjoyable, a great value

The puzzles ranged from easy to challenging. The book was comfortable to work with and lasted for months. A good gift for the puzzle lovers. I wish there was a volumn 2 but there isn't. (I bought the Fill-In Paint-doku from Conceptis Puzzles instead. That book is terrible, don't buy that one.)

    A reviewer

Fun to play, increasingly challenging, and a great way to pass the time. Only the title is confusing - this has nothing to do with painting. It's a math/logic puzzle. Please offer a Volume II.

    Loved It!

This was such a fun book. There were enough huge puzzles to keep me busy for a couple of months. I'd like cast another vote for volume 2.

    Highly Recommended

What a great way to use math logic skills to create a picture. Follow the instructions at the beginning and start with the small puzzles to help ease the frustration of learning. Once you get the hang of it, off you go. It is addictive and help pass the time when waiting on others. I completed my first book and therefore have purchased this item for the second time. I hope for a second edition soon! I have shown others how to do the puzzles and now see them with the book. Another edition please!

    Basic Paint-doku

These puzzles presented by Conceptis Puzzles are more along the lines of the basic puzzles that they presented to the public over a decade ago. They are basic meant more for the younger generation. It is good for children and those new to this type of puzzle. Conceptis has more challenging puzzles to offer on-line, but for the general public it is a perfect publication, but if you have solved Paint-doku or Pic-a-Pic or Paint by numbers puzzles for any period of time, these are more on the simple side of solving.

    Great Puzzle Book

I love this book because it has nice white pages instead of the off white or even yellowish pages like some of the other ones. It's also great because the squares are small enough to see the picture when your done. The portraits look just like the person. I wish they would make another one becasue I don't like the other brands.

    Challenging

Love this book. The bigger puzzles are especially challenging. I vote for a volume II, too.

    I love logic

I love logic problems and these are my new favorite. These are so much better than Sodoku. This book lasted a long time since I do these when waiting for the bus, the Dr, or whatever else. Great collection.
