I very rarely write reviews on anything. With that said I was very excited about this book and when it arrived in the mail I felt like a kid on Christmas morning. At first glance the book looks great! Once you are able to sit down and go through the recipes you quickly realize, "I can do this." I must say I have only made 3 of the recipes so far, but the tag line "Gluten Free Recipes Made Simple" has held true thus far! The layout is my favorite out of my 8+ cookbooks and the pictures are very well done. The other huge plus for me and my family is the leftovers that you actually want to eat. I had "Chili with a Kick" for dinner and didn't hesitate to take it with me for lunch the next day. Not to mention how nice it is to walk into a house that is filled with the aroma of good food. Lastly there is a great story behind this book and the author does a good job of filling you in on her "past life" and how she got to where she is today. I would highly recommend this book for anyone looking to save time in the kitchen, eat healthy and of course those that say "I can't cook." Enjoy, Wayne

The evolution of Paleo concepts from Dr. Cordain to Mr. Wolf has been beautifully reorganized and presented with pullout charts, incredibly personalized meal plans, depending on ailments and conditions, and is very comprehensive. I applaud Diane Sanfilippo on an extraordinary compilation of useful and practical information. I plan on giving these as presents to change lives...

This book has some great recipes. Many of them rely on the use of Penzey spices which makes them more difficult to follow unless you order from the company or look up what each blend contains. Will still use some of the recipes but because of the spice issue not my favorite paleo cookbook.

So far, I have made 9 recipes and all have been great or delicious or simple. The photos are mouth-watering. Lots of variety, with mostly simple ingredients.  Am going to continue to explore more recipes. Sometimes by adding more of the same ingredients, I get two full meals from these delicious recipes. Hope this helps you decide.

Have not tried every recipe, but the ones that I have made have been fantastic! This is for everyone, not just gluten free people. Easy and great tasting; just plain, good, straight forward food. No garbage food involved! Yeah!!

Love this cookbook! It really helps to be able to prepare meals in advance to keep me on track with the paleo lifestyle. No more looking in the frig for something to snack on since my meal is already cooked in the crockpot. The book is well organized and I love the " Recipe Notes" section for keeping track of any changes I make. Thanks Chrissy!

After having started the Whole30 program, we were desperate for recipes. This cookbook provided a few but nothing groundbreaking. I did appreciate the dessert section, even though there are only 5 recipes. Not really necessary to add to your collection if you're already used to crockpot cooking.

I just got into the paleo diet/lifestyle. I have a few too many slowcookers, so this book is perfect for me! I actually haven't tried the recipes yet but I've tagged almost all the recipes because they look and sound soooooooo delicious and relatively easy to make. I like how she takes you through exactly what you'll need as in utensils and skills!!!
