Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

"Readers who pick this volume up anticipating dry-looking baked goods and fruit smoothies are in for a pleasant surprise. Aimed at those on the Paleo diet or at those simply trying to eat healthier, this collection of treats is a win-win for anyone. Blogger Connell (multiplydelicious.com) has written one of the few Paleo dessert compilations on the market, though others are expected next year. The book starts off with an overview of the diet and some pantry staples and then highlights items that are available in stores by season. Connell features some obvious recipes, such as baked crumble-stuffed apples, as well as unexpected treats (fudgy chocolate coffee brownies, vanilla coconut ice cream, lemon bars, and dark chocolate pots de crème with roasted cherries).
Verdict A great addition for any library whose clientele can’t get enough of Paleo or gluten-free cookbooks or who are just trying to make healthier choices."—Library Journal

For a family who eats mostly just real whole foods, it's so nice

For a family who eats mostly just real whole foods, it's so nice having some fun treats, with beautiful, mouth watering pictures, right in my kitchen. My kids have been arguing over which treats to make first, and my daughter doesn't even have that much of a sweet tooth! I also love that that there is a picture to go with so many of the recipes. I tend to not want to make something if I can't see it, and it's motivating to bake for sure. The pictures are gorgeous and it is some of the best food porn out there! As a person who has been eating paleo for 5 years, I highly recommend this book!

Paleo Sweets & Treats is a beautiful book full of delicious

Paleo Sweets & Treats is a beautiful book full of delicious recipes! I love to cook, but I am not much of a baker. As a Paleo mom, this book will be my go to for all special occasions and birthday parties. I love that the recipes are divided up by season. So far, we have tried the Maple Spiced Sweet Potato Cupcakes. They were amazing! We have marked tons more recipes to make soon!

I'm so happy to have this cookbook added to my paleo cookbook collection!  A beautiful cookbook! I can't wait to bake through the seasons that are each featured in the book; fall,  winter, spring and summer....oh and even year-round!
