Library Journal - Library Journal
This is another delightful addition to Alston's ``mini-library'' for bakers ( Tea Breads and Coffeecakes , LJ 2/15/91) and Biscuits and Scones , LJ 5/15/88). Here are easy but delicious recipes for pancakes and waffles of all sorts, both savory and sweet, for breakfast, light meals, and dessert: Toasted Hazlenut Waffles, Korean Scallion Pancakes with Bean Sprout Salad, Hazlenut Praline Crepes. More practical than Leslie Freiburger's The Waffle Cookbook ( LJ 5/15/92), this is recommended for most collections.
