    Not your usual post-apocalypse fare.

I kind of expected something mad-maxy, but that isn't what the book is about. If I had to liken it to anything else I'd say it was a fusion of mad-max, fringe, the dark tower and unforgiven!

All in all, very entertaining, plenty of action and leaves you wondering how the world portrayed got in the shape it did. Hopefully there will be more in the series!
