This was the better than any therapy I went through for Panic. Since I read this book 10 years ago I have been free from fear of Panic. The attacks come and go, but I don't worry about them anymore! Christine Ingham is wonderful!

I didn't know what was happening to me. A doctor said I was having panic attacks and gave me no further information and no referral. He just put me on medication. I found this book and got the explanations I desparately needed. It wasn't patronizing and I didn't have to wade through pages upon pages of clinical jargon. This book demystifies the panic attack and gives real advice for seeking help and getting better. It explains the different medication & therapy options out there and gives you the power and suggestions to help yourself get through your next attack. I have passed this book on to friends I found out had also had panic attacks and they all loved it. Do yourself a favor and read it.
