Panic on Sunset Strip [Explicit Lyrics]

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Victor W. Valdivia
Panic on Sunset Strip is a fascinating release. Recorded in 1987, at a club gig in Los Angeles, it re-teams Thunders with his original New York Dolls bandmate Arthur Kane, as well as Jerry Nolan, and the results are startling. Even the acoustic set, which includes a moving version of "Lonely Planet Boy" and a cover of Marc Bolan's "The Wizard," is impressive. Though the sound quality is slightly below that of other Thunders releases, this release has the edge because the performance is superior even if some choice songs, like "Chinese Rocks" and "In Cold Blood," are missing. Panic on Sunset Strip is a superb live document that should appeal to anyone looking for classic, no-frills rock & roll.
