AI Franken's writing is acerbic and fun to read. It clearly conveys his belief that the unwashed have, unaccountably, laughed at the most cherished beliefs of Those Who Matter. If one were to review Al Franken's writing, one might, with the same amount of class exhibited in the title of his blockbuster, 'Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot', entitle the review, 'Al Franken Is A Bitter, Brain-Dead Dwarf'. Anyone think this would make the New York Times Review of Books? Neither do I. I suspect the author doesn't either. (Nor, I hope, would he be classless enough to submit a book so entitled.) But he does show that Franken's writing is misleading, inaccurate, and untrustworthy, at least in part. The author will not have a media pep squad behind him, but his points are worth considering, without partisan rants or favoritism. Might happen. But I doubt it.

It's about time someone accepted Al Franken's challenge to 'prove I lied.' For the last 2 years, Franken claimed that 'conservative's are liars and I hold myself to impossibly high standards.' 'Pants on Fire' is so thoroughly researched and sourced, I can't believe that nobody in the media was able to catch on to Franken's fraudulent claims long ago. The book goes into great detail as the author really goes after Al Franken from his books, to his public appearances, and to his radio show and exposes not only Franken's lies, but his outright hypocrisy for employing the very tactics he accuses conservatives like Ann Coulter and others of doing.
