Chapter OneIt is Family Day on this sunny spring Saturday. Paradise and Cove was walking to the beach carrying a pie to meet up with their family. On the way they counted their feathered friends. 1 One 1
Woodpecker pecking on a tree. Made a hole and out comes a bee.
Peacocks running across the street. The street is so hot it was burning their feet.
Blue Jays hatched from their shell. 2 flew away and 1 fell.
Ducks hiding in a bush. We didn't know they were there until one was pushed.
Flamingos standing in the grass. Pretty and pink we waved as we passed.
pigeons eating out of the trash. As they flew away out came some gas.
Eagles flying high. 1 flew down and took our pie.
Swans are swimming all in a row. The one in the back has on a hat and eating a taco.
