Overview

When his wife left him, Jake Talbet thought his life was over. The fame, the fortune, and all the spoils of being a best-selling author meant nothing if Rene wasn't there to share it with him. Depressed, suicidal, and suffering from the first bout of writer's block in his life, Jake felt as if he would never love again; that was until he met Cindy. Their meeting on a cruise ship felt like fate, and when Cindy vanishes, Jake embarks on a frantic search that begins on the ship and ends in the heart of Tennessee. Jake discovers, along the way, that his writer's block has vanished and a story is burning to be told. His journey, both physically and through his writing, forces Jake to face the demons of his past and the secret behind the disappearance of his new love.
