Overview

There is no such thing as a mage. There is certainly no such thing as a vampire, pixie, werewolf, or fallen angel. And they certainly do not all attend a college together called Paranormal Public University.

One minute Charlotte Rollins is a normal girl about to go to a normal college. She is at once excited and nervous, getting ready to start this new phase in her life. The next minute she is a freshman not at a normal college, but at Paranormal Public University, a school where paranormals of all kinds must co-exist. Charlotte must learn magic, that is, if she could actually do magic, which unlike every other mage at Public she can’t seem to manage.

Her transition to this new and wonderful world is difficult. On top of trying to learn magic, make new friends, and confront forbidden love, the archenemy of the paranormals, the demons, are getting stronger. They are looking for something. It turns out that Charlotte might just hold the key to finding it.

Can Charlotte get a handle on her powers in time to save the school she loves? Can she fulfill a destiny the paranormals scarcely dared to hope for? Or will she be too late?

This book was so fun! I loved the characters, especially Lisabelle. If you like magic, fantasy and a bit of fun this book is perfect.

This was fun. It kept me reading to find out what was going to happen next, always a good test. The characters were intriguing and memorable. I hope there's more to come!

Very nice storyline. Reminds me to look at the world as people, not nations.

I love this book! If they were all free I would get them all! I love how you know Charlotte likes Keller, but you don't know he likes her until the end. I love how this book has the mythical creatures such as pixies, vamps, elementals, werewolves, dreamgivers, and fallen angels! I like how they don't like each other until the war. It is like World War Three! I wonder if Keller and Charlotte become Mr and Mrs Keller afterwords. ;) ! I wonder why the person who posted on May first could not get the rest, because I am using a nook and I have no trouble getting them. It might be that thee nook is old. Anyway, the readers of this book should be 12-13 because of some mature content! Otherwise, this book is one of the best I've ever read and I've read over 1,934,9034 this year! I hope you like this book as much as I do! :) !

I have a few problems with some of the logic regarding the plot, but I still enjoyed it and will be reading the next one. Also it is a little it too much like the Harry Potter series...

Excellent book, the story drew you in, I really was behind the main character and it was fun as well as a good mystery. There were a few tiny grammar errors but other than that an all around awesome read. I would read more from this author and was surprised that it was a free nook book.

This book was rated for teens/young adult, but I (as an older adult) enjoyed it tremendously! It reminded me of a "the moral of the story is...." book. The characters were well written and the story line was too. I'm intrigued to see what the next book has to offer.
