Overview

For centuries people have reported odd occurrences that defy explanation. And a fascination with the mystical still exists today. Movies such as Paranormal Activity and The Haunting In Connecticut and TV shows like Fringe entertain our curiosity with the unexplained. From Bigfoot to Aliens, we strive to know more about these things that are out of the ordinary. Since the beginning of time there have been stories of ghosts and hauntings. From the haunted castles of the United Kingdom to haunted houses in the United States the stories are too many to be ignored.

At nearly 500 pages, Paranormal World provides a definitive portrait of people who believe in or have experienced such phenomena as ghosts, Bigfoot, UFOs, psychic phenomena, and the power of the unexplained. However, unlike many books on the paranormal, this volume does not focus on proving or disproving the paranormal, but rather an exploration of generations of stories that span thousands of years.

In Paranormal World you will be offered hundreds of opportunities to enter the world of the unexplained. You will be presented with complete profiles of Haunted Houses, Bermuda Triangle Incidents, Haunted Lighthouses, Haunted Cemeteries, Haunted Hotels, Haunted Castles, Poltergeists, Paranormal Creatures, Alien Visitations, and a complete guide to investigating the world of ghosts.

Brimming with engaging stories and provocative findings, Paranormal World is an entertaining yet authoritative look at a growing segment of American culture. My name Is Gregory Branson-Trent, I am an author and paranormal investigator. My world is filled with these occurrences and I believe. Welcome to my Paranormal World.

You might wanna skip this one...

This book is readable, however...the digital transfer over to E-Book format SUCKS. There are black and white pictures covering dialogue that makes the stories almost unreadable. Sometimes the wording is too large for the page, and the overall book is just visually a mess.

The book is also littered with grammatical errors which really distract from reading it. One missed period easily turns a paragraph into a run-on sentence and it's very distracting.

Also to mention is the writers writing style. Every case he explores is BARELY documented, the information is outdated, etc. It's almost like the writer has the writing style of a 12 year old. The stories are very simple, using small words, and it got very annoying very quickly.

I won't be purchasing books by this author again. I feel like I got cheated spending $10 on this absurd book.

    Disapointment

Just a bunch of one or two paragraph stories, not even stories, just a bit of info.
    Don't waste your money.

A great book packed with 500 pages of everything Paranromal, Highly recommended!

This book has it all from every type of haunting you can image to hundreds of case studies of each type, from lighthouses, to haunted houses, to haunted hotels and even a ghost hunters start up guide, And then it goes further to explore aliens, Bigfoot, Atlantis, Unexplained dissappearances, including Flight 19 and Amelia Earhart. There is just so much in this book. And it is impressive to look at as well. Great cover and many great images inside. If you love ghosts and the paranormal, don't pass this up! It is well worth the money.
